Built in 1990 in Israel on aluminum framework. Arrived at Iquique on December 26, 1990 aboard the motor ship Walshorn.
She was commissioned into the Chilean Navy on January 3, 1991 according to the Resolution C.J.A. No 4520/C-1287 Vrs. of November 19, 1990.
Vessel specially designed to perform duties of Maritime Police in coastal and inland waters.
